TGIF - vol. 2
Between work and church "work", this week has been absolutely Manic. Thank God it is Friday, indeed.
Here are my highlights and lessons learned:
+ I devoured two books this week. I tell ya, when I get my hands on a good book, I become a total recluse! The casualties of my book-war this time were The Hunger Games I and II. I had heard a few people describe this book a few times but never thought it was my type of book, boy was I wrong.
+ I need to sleep much, much earlier on school nights otherwise I am a total zombie the next day. This is nothing new of course but for some reason I can never get into the habit of sleeping early! Although my first point might have something to do with that...
+ Never take anyone for granted. Oh don't worry, nothing dramatic happened to me this week but something did happen to a friend that reminded me never become so familiar with someone that you don't respect them anymore.
+ Your closest friends aren't always going to know where you're coming from - no matter how close you think you are. Ok, I admit, this one did happen to me. I think this goes hand in hand with making sure you don't ever take people for granted.
Geez... when did I become so deep, homies?
Until next time!
